Krazy Clouds

I was just finishing up a shoot when Geoff called and said, "Do you have a camera on you?" Before I could answer he said, "You need to get some shots of these clouds!!"
When I saw the clouds, my first thought was tornado- it always is when I see an ominous looking sky. Geoff later informed me that the could that rolled through Omaha yesterday, a little after 7pm, was a shelf cloud. I couldn't get ahead of the cloud because it was moving so fast, but I managed to get a couple shots from the zoo parking lot.

World Cup Football

Just back from football (soccer) crazed Deutschland-enjoying all the world cup had to offer. We had tickets to the US vs Ghana match and football in Europe is an atmosphere like no other. The fans were out of control- which made the games even better. Don't miss the final this Sunday Italy vs France!

School Days

While on a shoot yesterday at an elementary school I had a few moments to play. We are lucky, work and play tend to blur into one.

Viva Italia

I just returned form photographing a friends wedding in Italy (yes, I am a lucky girl!) although jet lag is still in full effect I wanted to share some of the amazing places I was able to see during and after the festivities.
The wedding was in a wonderful mountain town, Dolceacqua, near the Italy-France border.

The photos include a day trip to Genova, then on to Rome and Florence with my sister Stephanie. Of course I had to get there first.
Italy is a beautiful country and i hope to return there. Maybe next time I'll be a little more fluent in the language.

Dominicana

Recently returned from catching some sun in the Dominican Republic- the trip was too good to pass up after finding $18 round-trip tickets from Florida. Plus my girlfriend, Adrianne, studied there for 6 months- so I had a great guide to some wonderful places away from the tourist spots. The places we went were beautiful- best of all remote and undiscovered. One of the beaches we were on has been deemed the windsurfing capital of the world- I was more impressed with the kitesurfing- which I was lucky enough to see because no wind = no kitesurfing. I'm planning my retirement in the DR.
