Andrew Marinkovich shot through the hoops at a college in Omaha, NE for something Fresh and New. This is a small glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes on a typical day with any one of our photographers. Life as an assistant is never dull!
I recently shot some new promo stills for Omaha's own Billy McGuigan. Billy's been doing must see perfromances as Buddy Holly all over the country for several years.

With a little help from the Edgerton Explorit Center, the Metro Photo Club got a lesson in high speed photography. Using a rifle, a flash and sound timer, with a little luck-I got some a few frames of exploding eggs. Things got a little messy...but it was worth every shot!
Last weekend my wife Anne and I took a quick trip to the windy city. If you're ever there be sure to hit the Chicago Pizza & Oven Grinder Co. for some delicious pizza pot pies. FYI, they take cash only! Take a look at the slideshow.

While in Alaska, I watched a bit of the Jr. North American Championship Sled Dog Race in Fairbanks. The owners and spectators were amazing and kind, to me and to the dogs. The kids were great, even when dogs wanted to sniff and not run... which was not often. As for the dogs... they may be athletes, but they are still dogs, which meant I was up to my neck with dog hair and kisses from as many as possible!!!
With respect to all the environmental awareness- the crew at Malone and Company is keeping up with the green concept and going off the grid. We are now powering our equipment internally. If you can't reach us for some reason it may be due to this guy taking a break...
