Diners

A few months ago I worked on a project for AAA Magazine that was doing a story on diners in Nebraska. Here are a few images from Wigwams in Wahoo and Virginia's in Lincoln. If you're ever traveling through be sure to stop by and check them out.

Shootin' At the Range

I traded in my camera for the day to do some "real" shooting. Thanks to Deputy Sheriff Brent Kendall from Madison County, I learned how to shoot a Glock .45 and Glock .357.

Southern Comfort

Just back from Mobile, Alabama. When I got off the plane I ran into the welcoming crew.
Local high school girls apply to be part of this welcoming committee- it's a big deal to be selected. It was sad coming back to Omaha and not having anyone here to welcome arriving passengers. It would be good for the city. Actually, the airport in Mobile is the only place I've ever seen greeters- it was nice southern hospitality.

Still shootin'

I may not get to jet-set the country, in fact I rarely get out of the darkroom, but on occasion (and for good cause)... I still shoot.

Friends of mine, Tom & Sally Barrett approached me recently to photograph Tom, as he is running for Clerk of the District Court for Douglas County.
I love the Barrett's and Tom always brings me beer.
How could I say no?

I was thrilled to have a part in this political process.

The evening of 3/1/06 Tom, Sally and their two daughters Stella and Ruthanne came down to the studio.
Here are some of the images we captured with help from Lora Davis, free-lance assistant and entertainer of children (THANKS LORA!!)
DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!
