Working LA

Mike, Geoff, Kate and I just got back from a workshop in LA. Not only did we learn a lot, but we also took our cameras everywhere. Images from the hotel, walking to lunch and a great trip to The Getty Museum at night times 4 photographers left a little editing. The condensed version is under 80, so enjoy the show.

Malone & Company Photography on the Mountain

Geoff & I, along with our families, hit the mountain a few weeks ago and took our cameras high and low. Patty and Geoff's wife Ann weren't to crazy about all the stopping and starting and Patty would have nothing to do with trying to shoot in wind and cold at 13,000 ft. but the images we captured were worth it! See for yourself and let us know what you think of the funky slide show tool Geoff's sister turned us on to.

Coming Soon

This year will be full of new and interesting venues to see the images of Malone & Company. The first to be unveiled is our new business cards. One of the crew was surfing the net and found this cool way to print out images in a unique, inexpensive way. We decided to make them our new business cards. Who needs one more of those standard issue models in the world of electronic information swapping. These cards double as bookmarks or wall decorations. Fun ideas for cards= recipe's, gift tags, magnets- the list goes on. Check them out at moo.com.

Stay tuned for more new stuff.

Do You Know How to Survive a Snake Bite?

The risks we take to get the shot for the client- we love living on the edge. Thankfully we didn't have to for this shot. This snake looks dangerous, but it was dead. We found it at Wild Country Taxidermist and Don did great work keeping the realistic qualities of the snake. Snakes are much easier to light when they aren't moving!

Late Holiday Imagery

Little busy during the holidays to post this movie but I thought it was still worth sharing. We shot this with our high frame rate (8fps) camera. Just another example of how the world of photography is converging with other forms of content creation.
