DC in Black & White
I spent a few days early this week in Washington, DC. The images below are from the Hirshhorn and Natural History Museums.
....and if you're heading that way I recommend you stay at the Hotel Helix- it's a great boutique hotel.

It was hot outside and the crew was heat'n it up inside too.
Check out the behind the scenes of:
•building sets
•finding people fishing in a boat
•finding a lake for the boat people to fish in (these people and their boat will later be dropped into a sink- inside a kitchen-thanks to the magic of Kate Heller)
•sweaty people taking pictures
the list goes on...
GO TEAM!

I was just finishing up a shoot when Geoff called and said, "Do you have a camera on you?" Before I could answer he said, "You need to get some shots of these clouds!!"
When I saw the clouds, my first thought was tornado- it always is when I see an ominous looking sky. Geoff later informed me that the could that rolled through Omaha yesterday, a little after 7pm, was a shelf cloud. I couldn't get ahead of the cloud because it was moving so fast, but I managed to get a couple shots from the zoo parking lot.

Just back from football (soccer) crazed Deutschland-enjoying all the world cup had to offer. We had tickets to the US vs Ghana match and football in Europe is an atmosphere like no other. The fans were out of control- which made the games even better. Don't miss the final this Sunday Italy vs France!
