Beautiful spring day.
Check.
The entire school population on the playground at one time.
Check.
Patty and Andrew wrangled over a 150 kids and teachers to create a fun cover for Brennans' schools' yearbook. Mike and Patty's daughter is hiding in this shot somewhere.
See if you can spot the creative retouching Kate had to do to stitch the two vertical shots together for the cover. Kate- your so good- it's hard to find!

This is how the Malone and Torchwerks crew warms up each morning to attack the day. Let us know if you want us to teach you some moves. We've been working hard on the choreography.

Malcom Gladwell hit Omaha to talk to its young professionals and challenged all to frame their vision of this community and develop connections to make it a reality. Malone and Company got in the mix with the media. Geoff Johnson got some great shots of Malcom and Torchwerks rolled some footage while he did an interview with Jeff Slobotski of Silicon Priarie News. Interview coming soon- check back.

The studio was transformed to a Brady Bunch style "backlot backyard". Thanks to all for shooting late into the night- the images turned out great! Anthony- you rocked the shoot with that heroic balancing act of luggage (this shot was not PSed- it's the real deal).
The concept for the shoot was to build a plastic world because a lot of people have been burdened by those tiny little plastic cards they carry around in their pockets. Plastic rules our life. Then, after we use the plastic we carry around that debt of the purchase. (Easier explained by a photo- for sure.)

Kate Heller and Mike Malone created these blended scenes for VT Industries in Iowa. Mike shot the countertops and Kate added the post magic. Check out the before and after in Kate's gallery.
