Geoff Johnson, along with his wife Anne and their friends, took to the streets and ran in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure over the weekend. The race is held each year in Omaha, and across the country, to foster awareness about breast cancer. Andrew Marinkovich was able to help photograph the event to support his fiance, Adrianne, who works for the Nebraska affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Malone and Co photographer Mike Malone was shooting at a community garden for Omaha By Design recently when this not so little spider caught his eye.
While in Chicago there were no riots or violent protests, unless you watched the Chicago Bears quarterback last Sunday, but we got out of town before that debacle. The Malone and Co crew did manage to pick up some images around the town, including a trip to the Chicago Art Institute. We saw some interesting photography by Richard Misrach and Jeff Wall.
Geoff Johnson recently traveled out west to capture some landscapes of Nebraska.
Andrew Marinkovich and Sam Carter spent two days shooting lawn mowers in town. This was the only stunt shot we got. Matt attempts an Evil Knievel jump from the trailer to the back of the truck. He's safe, and pulled off the jump with no injuries. Thanks to the crew from the mowing company for putting in the time in the hot sun- and for all the cleaning that was done to keep the mowers looking great.
